human body structure to map the change in thermal performance
under the influence of movement and sweat. It is the ideal setup
to test the insulation value of outdoor gears ranging
from gloves, to jackets, to sleeping bags.
34 INDEPENDENT HEAT ZONES

The 34 independent heat zones that are strategically positioned across the manikin body allows a complete body mapping of the slightest temperature change. This allows a well-rounded evaluation of the insulation performance to ensure 360┬░ body temperature regulation. All heat zones can be independently measured, hence we are capable of testing specific gears like gloves and hats.
SWEATING SYSTEM

Our Sweating System is capable to immitate the natural reaction of sweating. This is integral in capturing the insulation performance change cause by the moist from sweating, which affects the efficiency of air pockets in insulation.
MOTION SYSTEM

Frictions from body movements generate minor heat that may be significant when accumulated. More importantly, the wear & tear from movements over time can create cold spots on the insulation. Our Motion System effectively captures all these changes by immitating the human ergonomics so as to replicate the reality in change of insulation value over time.
